Arguendo is an independent, online publication accompanying The George Washington Law Review. Arguendo publishes original articles and essays directly to the internet, giving contributing authors an opportunity to contribute to scholarly discourse much sooner than with traditional print legal scholarship. Publications in Arguendo are syndicated to databases such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, and HeinOnline, and bear customary legal citations and formatting.
Arguendo publishes on a rolling basis and is currently accepting submissions via Scholastica and email. Please see our website for further information. In general, pieces should not be longer than 8,000 words, although exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Please be advised that The George Washington Law Review maintains separate Scholastica pages for the print edition and for Arguendo. The print edition of The George Washington Law Review is available at this link.
