Submit Manuscript

The George Washington Law Review Arguendo publishes original articles and essays directly to the internet in a timely manner. Publications are syndicated on platforms such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, and HeinOnline.

Arguendo prefers submissions that are:

  • Approximately 8,000 words or fewer, including footnotes (exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
  • Concerning a timely and topical issue
  • In reasonable compliance with the Bluebook (22nd ed.)

We look forward to reviewing your manuscripts and appreciate your patience throughout the submission season.

Arguendo also accepts submissions via email to gwlrarguendo@law.gwu.edu. Manuscripts submitted via Scholastica need not be submitted via email.
